v. The act of initiating the acquisition or resupply of one or more ITEMS. —n. 1. A record of requested PRODUCTS or SERVICES. 2. Anything your MANAGER or other STORE MANAGER asks you to do.NOTE: To Order PRODUCT to restock the SHELVES, the SHELF TAG is SCANNED with the GUN on an appropriate setting. This is usually done by a STORE MANAGER, DEPARTMENT MANAGER, NIGHT CREW CHIEF, or other duly deputized individual. Some employers include Ordering as part of a STOCK CLERK'S job description, but my STORE does not.
